Time Out at Blue Hill

Happy 2018 all! We’re super excited to kick off the new year with a monthly residency at Time Out Restaurant & Bar featuring guest chefs, local charities and live music. The idea is to create an open table, an open jam…an incubator of sorts for both culinary and musical skills and local fundraising efforts.
 
Join us for our initial kick-off party Friday, February 2nd from 5-8pm w/ Chef Joseph and friends and Music by Pastor Jo, his band, and guest appearances by Kerisha Roi, Dee Gailes and others. Students in the UNC Division of Physical Therapy will be on site as well helping out and raising money for their annual spring break service-learning trip in Columbia, North Carolina where they provided many services like home health assessments and safety modifications for adults in the community. Oyster Roast $14Doz; $23 half peck (~2Doz) – Salty local Oysters Steamed over open flame w/ Lemon, Hot Sauces & Cocktail. Shuckers provided!

Fish Fry $14 – Strips of Fresh Flounder & Catfish Deep Fried to a Golden Brown in a special Steel String Beer Batter then sprinkled w/ nothing but Salt. Served w/ Hushpuppies, House-Made Tartar and a Kale, Pumpkin Seed Slaw.

Louisiana Seafood Gumbo $12 – Amberjack, Monk, Shrimp, Andouille Sausage and Veggies in a Smoky Roux over Steamed Rice.
 
Brats $8 – Grilled Brats with Spicy Mustard and Beer Braised Sauerkraut w/ Caraway on a Bavarian Pretzel Bun.
 
Veggie Plate $7 – A Combo of Sweet Potato Hash (Grilled Sweet Potato, Honey, Feta & Herbs) and Braised Kale. Choose both or double up on one.
